Individual investors need investment portfolios that meet their particular needs.  A millennial with a long investment horizon needs a more aggressive portfolio for future retirement than an 80 year-old person using a portfolio for income to meet living expenses.  To help ensure that an investment portfolio is aligned with needs, it is important to determine Investment Objectives.  The worksheet below represents a starting point for determining the investment portfolio structure.  This worksheet is not definitive, and a good investment adviser can tailor an investment portfolio that more completely meets investor needs.  (There are inputs to provide an example, but they can be overwritten).  The worksheet below represents a good starting point.
